Lower Saxony – Scotland Joint Forum - Open call for workshop proposals

The Call for Workshop Proposals is now open - extended deadline 19 September 2021

After a successful first edition of the Lower Saxony – Scotland Joint Forum, we are thrilled to announce that the second edition will take place on Monday, 22 and Tuesday, 23 November 2021 as an online conference.

The Joint Forum is a two-day event organised by the European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) in collaboration with Leuphana University Lüneburg and the University of Glasgow. The event is designed to foster the relationship between academics, staff and students from higher education institutions in both regions, it provides the perfect platform to present joint projects and ideas.

Format of the event 

On the first day, we will hear interesting discussions surrounding partnerships with universities and the impact as well as relevance such knowledge transfer may have for society at large by renowned experts.

The second day is devoted to academics, staff and students by giving them the opportunity to host their own workshops on joint topics they are working on.
