GU Gaelic Football Club

If you want to try something new at university, have fun and meet new people, then Glasgow University Gaelic Football Club (GUGFC) is the club for you. It offers the best of both worlds:

  • A chance to get fit and learn a new skill
  • Improve your social life

GUGFC currently has men's and women's teams. Whether you are a beginner or an Inter-County player, we welcome students of all abilities and love to see new faces at our training sessions. As well as training hard, we as a club love to socialise and have regular nights out and fundraisers throughout the year.

Training takes place at Garscube Sports Complex.

If you're looking to maintain a high standard of football during your university career, and have a fantastic time doing it, you need look no further than the GUFC.

If you feel like GUGFC is the club for you, come visit us at our stall at the Sports Freshers Fair in September, and feel free to send us an email if you've any questions.
